Matcha Bowl - Strawberry / 抹茶碗

Sourced from the well-known Gifu Prefecture, the origin of Mino ware which has 1,300 years of history.

The shape of this matcha bowl is a half-cylindrical type, with straight sides and a flatter bottom. This shape makes whisking matcha easier as the vertical walls help keep the tea from splashing over the lip.

In addition to the coarse bottom and heavyweight, it is great for matcha beginners to stabilise the bowl on any surface.

On the other hand, it is worthy to add to the collection for matcha lovers because of the beauty of the natural pink glaze on top of the handmade chawan.

All Pottery Matcha Bowl products are wholly handmade in Japan. Each piece is unique; slight irregularities in size, glaze, colour and texture might occur and reflect the nature of the artisan product.
