Matcha Bowl with Spout - Mat Black / 抹茶碗 黒練

Made in Gifu Prefecture, Japan, the home of Mino ware, which has 1,300 years of history.

The shape of this matcha bowl is a half-cylindrical type, with straight sides and a flatter bottom. This shape makes whisking matcha easier as the vertical walls help keep the tea from splashing over the lip.

With its textured base and solid weight, the bowl sits steadily on any surface, making it ideal for matcha beginners.

It is also a worthy addition to any matcha lover's collection, thanks to the beauty of the natural pink glaze on top of the handmade chawan.

All Pottery Matcha Bowl products are wholly handmade in Japan. Each piece is unique; slight irregularities in size, glaze, colour and texture might occur and reflect the nature of the artisan product.
