Description
Junzu is a young Tokoname-yaki craftsman carrying forward the heritage of one of Japan’s Six Ancient Kilns. With a spirit of innovation, Junzu blends traditional Tokoname techniques with fresh ideas, aiming to create pieces that feel both timeless and new.
Tokoname ware (Tokoname-yaki) has a history of more than 900 years and is widely celebrated for its teapots and vessels. The clay, known for its warmth and resilience, has long been cherished in Japanese tea culture.
All Pottery Matcha Bowl products are wholly handmade in Japan. Each piece is unique; slight irregularities in size, glaze, colour and texture might occur and reflect the nature of the artisan product.
