Sourced from the well-known Gifu Prefecture, Japan, the origin of Mino ware which has 1,300 years of history.

The shape of this matcha bowl is a half-cylindrical type, with straight sides and a flatter bottom. This shape makes whisking matcha easier as the vertical walls help keep the tea from splashing over the lip.
