This summer, we had the privilege of visiting Nippon Kodo's factory in Tokyo, where centuries-old traditions meet modern craftsmanship. From the moment we stepped inside, we witnessed the precision and care that goes into crafting their incense. Their dedication to quality control and attention to detail passed down through generations of incense-making expertise, were evident in every step of the process.
Established in 1942, Nippon Kodo carries on the legacy of Koju, the renowned incense maker who served the Imperial Court in the 16th century, continuing to create exquisite fragrances that blend tradition with innovation.
