Knots have an association with the symbolism of love, friendship and affection. Mizuhiki conveys warmth, connection and togetherness.

The cutleries were made in Tsubame, Niigata, Japan's cutlery and steel manufacturing centre. This city has long been known as the "town of hardware" of metal products like work tools and cutlery.
