Mino ware Japanese Sushi Yunomi Teacup 160 ml - Sand Beach / 寿司湯呑み

Mino ware (美濃焼) has been made in Gifu Prefecture (岐阜県), central Japan, for over 1,300 years — one of the oldest and most prolific ceramic traditions in the country.

This simple white yunomi has a clean, quiet presence that lets the colour of the tea come forward. Its compact form feels easy in the hand, making it a gentle everyday cup for green tea, hojicha, or a small warm drink after a meal.

As every piece has its handmade feature, slight irregularities in size, glaze, colour and texture might occur and reflect the nature of the artisan product.
