Mino ware Japanese Teacup Shiba Sushi Yunomi / 寿司湯呑

Mino ware (美濃焼) has been made in Gifu Prefecture (岐阜県), central Japan, for over 1,300 years — one of the oldest and most prolific ceramic traditions in the country.

This sushi-style yunomi has a familiar, comforting shape often seen in casual Japanese dining. The Shiba design adds a light-hearted touch, making it a lovely piece for daily tea rather than something kept only for special occasions.

As every piece has its handmade feature, slight irregularities in size, glaze, colour and texture might occur and reflect the nature of the artisan product.
