Mino ware Whisk Stand - Natural White / 茶筅立て

Mino ware (美濃焼) has been made in Gifu Prefecture (岐阜県), central Japan, for over 1,300 years — one of the oldest and most prolific ceramic traditions in the country. This chasen stand is designed to preserve the natural curve of the bamboo whisk after each use. By allowing the whisk to dry upright while retaining its rounded silhouette, it helps extend the life of one of the most essential tools in the tea ceremony. The smooth form sits securely on the benchtop, while the artisan’s hand-painted motifs bring a soft sense of season and storytelling to the tea table.

As every piece has its handmade feature, slight irregularities in size, glaze, colour and texture might occur and reflect the nature of the artisan product.
