Kutani ware(九谷焼) is a traditional craft of Ishikawa prefecture(石川県) with a history of over 360 years. The beauty of nature, brilliant colour and fine calligraphy are the key features of this style of Japanese porcelain. With three generations of experience, Seikou Kiln(青郊窯) is one of the most popular family-owned kilns in the Kutani-yaki region. 

Seikou Kiln presents these sake cups, which artisans individually crafted with their beauty. Japanese porcelain sake cups are renowned for their durability because of their high quality. On the other hand, with the Kutani designs, the Japanese sake cups come to another level.

As the whole piece is handmade in Japan, slight irregularities in size, glaze, colour and texture might occur and reflect the nature of the artisan product.
