Kutani ware(九谷焼) is a traditional craft of Ishikawa prefecture(石川県) with a history of over 360 years. The beauty of nature, brilliant colour and fine calligraphy are the key features of this style of Japanese porcelain. With three generations of experience, Seikou Kiln(青郊窯) is one of the most popular family-owned kilns in the Kutani ware region.

Seikou Kiln presents these wakasa lacquer(若狭塗) chopsticks, which artisans individually crafted with their beauty. Japanese chopsticks are renowned for their durability because of their high quality. On the other hand, the wakasa lacquer with the Kutani designs is bringing the Japanese chopsticks to another level.

As the whole piece is handmade in Japan, slight irregularities in size, glaze, colour and texture might occur and reflect the nature of the artisan product.
