KAGAMI Crystal Multilayer Coloured Rock Glass - Gyokumai / 玉舞 - Hideaki Shinozaki

A whisky glass designed and cut by Hideaki Shinozaki, a Master of Traditional Crafts. A masterpiece of beautifully carved beads and flowers on a slightly rounded form that fits comfortably in hand. This technique can be done only by Mr Shinozaki, who has outstanding skills, leaving a thin colour between cuts. Reflecting light like a kaleidoscope, it has a charm that will draw you in. A look from above will let you fully appreciate the stunning brilliance created by the cuts reflecting light on each other.

As the whole piece is handmade in Japan, irregularities in size, weight, colour and texture might occur and reflect the nature of the artisan product.
