Japanese Premium Wind Chime - Fujin, Raijin / 風鈴 風神雷神

This wind chime is created for use in the undercovered balcony or garden. It produces healing tones when there is wind and great colours when it is reflected by the sunlight.

The drawing "The Folding Screen of Fujin and Raijin" by Sotatsu Tawaraya is a masterpiece of the Edo period. He used gold luxuriously as a background, creating a pleasing atmosphere. 

Fujin - the Japanese God of Wind and Raijin - the Japanese God of thunder are known as both feared and respected Japanese deities. In this drawing, Sotatsu made them look fun with friendly faces. 

As the whole piece is handmade in Japan, slight irregularities in size, glaze, colour and texture might occur and reflect the nature of the artisan product.
