Made in Japan by renowned incense maker Nippon Kodo, this traditional natural incense ash is used to support Japanese incense sticks in bowl- or cup-style burners. It helps ensure stable, even burning and is especially suited for rituals or daily moments of quiet reflection.
This ash is made from natural volcanic ash and fine mineral matter, providing excellent heat resistance and low odour so it doesn’t interfere with the fragrance of your incense. How to Use:
Loosely fill your incense bowl and insert your stick upright or gently lay it on the surface. The ash allows for clean combustion and protects the base of your burner from excessive heat.
