EL DORADO Pair Rock Glass - Set of 2 / エレガンス ペアロックグラス
Since ancient times, mainly in Europe, there were legends about a city filled with gold. Around 16th century, explorers believed that "El Dorado" a golden empire, existed in the innermost depths of South America. "Zipang", a country of gold, was described in "The Travel of Marco Polo".
As a homage to the legends related to the world of gold, the "El Dorado" series was created by glass artisans in Japan by expanding the image of the legends and combining it with the pieces.
With special technology, the surface of the glass was corroded to create a crystal-like face and apply a gold transferring process. The products are classic, dazzling and splendid.
We hope this series, inspired by the romantic fantasy about the golden land, will make your daily life more colourful and fascinating.
As the whole piece is handmade in Japan, slight irregularities in size, glaze, colour and texture might occur and reflect the nature of the artisan product.
