Ceramic Milk Splash - 7.5 cm / Sugar Bowl, Accessories Bowl, Teabag Holder

A beautiful piece that looks just like milk splash is made by Miyama Japan.

In 1977, Miyama was born in Mizunami City in Gifu Prefecture, the former world's leading producer of white porcelain, inheriting the art and spirit developed in this area.

Miyama's white porcelain is created by firing porcelain clay rich in glass components at 1340 degrees. By firing in a high-temperature kiln, the clay and glaze get harmonized, vitrified and create translucent lustre on its surface, and it becomes an easy-to-wash and stain-resistant material at the same time. It will grow to be more functional and esthetically pleasing through this firing process.

Miyama likes series are the tableware with the beauty of utility and great texture.

As every piece has its handmade feature, slight irregularities in size, glaze, colour and texture might occur and reflect the nature of the artisan product.
