Minimal in design yet highly functional, Fundou is a precision-machined incense holder crafted from solid brass. Designed to accommodate both stick incense and mosquito coils, its simple weight-and-pin mechanism holds your incense securely in place with quiet elegance.

Unlike traditional holders, Fundou supports not only full mosquito coils but also broken pieces — offering a practical solution for minimising waste. It is also compatible with a wide range of stick incense, including bamboo incense and standard sticks up to 5mm in diameter. Thanks to its clever design, you can even hold incense mid-length, allowing the flame to stop exactly where it's secured — perfect for when you wish to enjoy only part of a longer stick.

This versatility makes Fundou a practical and beautiful addition to your incense ritual, eliminating the need for multiple holders.

Made from uncoated brass, the holder will slowly develop a natural patina over time as it interacts with air and touch. This gentle ageing process adds depth and character, giving each piece a unique, antique-like finish. For those who prefer a polished look, the original shine can easily be restored using metal polish commonly available for brass instruments or Buddhist altar fittings.
