Aomori prefecture(青森県) is located in the northeast of Japan, famous for its delicious fresh fish.

"I want you to know more about the delicious fish caught by fishermen in Aomori!" said the artisans behind this AOMORI NO SAKANA (Fish of AOMORI) series.

Made from specially formulated coloured glass that matches the shape of the fish that represents Aomori Prefecture.

Flounder (Grey): 7.4 cm diameter, 4.7 cm height, 85 ml 

The catch of Japanese flounder in Aomori Prefecture is number one in Japan!
This cup also expresses the sand pattern when flounders lurk on the seabed of sandy areas.

Mackerel (Blue/Green): 7.4 cm diameter. 4.4 cm height, 50 ml

It is made with the image of a mackerel called HACHINOHE MAEOKI SABA(八戸前沖鯖), which can be found in Aomori prefecture.
The design, which is made by kneading multiple coloured glasses, represents the pattern on the mackerel's back. It is a three-dimensional and deeply drawn design

Tuna (Purple): 6.5 cm diameter, 5.1 cm height, 75 ml

Oma tuna(大間のマグロ) is called a black diamond. Natural bluefin tuna landed in the Tsugaru Straits(津軽海峡) on the Shimokita Peninsula(下北半島) in Aomori Prefecture.
This sake cup expresses the glossy and deep colour of the back part of Oma Tuna.

As the whole piece is handmade in Japan, slight irregularities in size, glaze, colour and texture might occur and reflect the nature of the artisan product.

Red Snapper: 7.4 cm diameter, 4.7 cm height, 85 ml

Sea bream is a red, beautiful, high-quality fish. The vivid blue spots on the body side are also faithfully reproduced.
