AOMORI Sea Japanese Wind Chime - Tsugaru Strait / 風鈴 津軽海峡

Aomori Prefecture, surrounded by the sea where Tsugaru Vidro(津軽びいどろ) is located, is blessed with seafood, and the beautiful seascapes of the four seasons are a part of life in the region.

Tsugaru Vidro sees this rich sea as an essential asset to be preserved for future generations and supports a project to promote activities to protect Aomori's sea, leading to the birth of this collaboration.

These wind chimes are imbued with the people’s wishes to "make Aomori's sea even more beautiful in the future."

This wind chime is created for use in the undercovered balcony or garden. It produces healing tones when there is wind and great colours when it is reflected by the sunlight.

Japanese wind bells and wind chimes can be used for many occasions, such as Christmas ornaments. 

As the whole piece is handmade in Japan, slight irregularities in size, glaze, colour and texture might occur and reflect the nature of the artisan product.
