3RD CERAMICS began its activities in Tajimi City, Gifu Prefecture, in 2014. Drawing inspiration from daily creations, discoveries, and experiences, they produce original ceramic products. They value simplicity and leaving room for the user, whether it's the moment of plating a dish on their tableware or arranging flowers in their vases. Their goal is to create something that feels complete only when it is being used, something that can enrich someone's life in a small yet meaningful way, reflecting their own unique values. They are neither individual artists nor a large manufacturer, but rather, they explore the possibilities of a third approach to ceramics.
As the whole piece is handmade in Japan, slight irregularities in size, glaze, colour and texture might occur and reflect the nature of the artisan product.
