Sourced from the well-known Gifu Prefecture(岐阜県), Japan, the origin of Mino ware which has 1,300 years of history.

It is great to the collection for matcha lovers because of the beauty of the two-colour (amber yellow and salmon pink) combination of natural glaze on top of the handmade chawan(茶碗). These two colours also have different textures. The amber yellow is with a smooth glaze texture, while the salmon pink has an earthy texture.

All Pottery Matcha Bowl products are wholly handmade in Japan. Each piece is unique; slight irregularities in size, glaze, colour and texture might occur and reflect the nature of the artisan product.
