Yui Kyusu -結 急須 / Teapot 330ml - Side Handle - 4 Colours

This teapot is a collaboration between Miyama and Saliu. A kiln in Mizunami City, Gifu Prefecture, a production centre which has a history of 1300 years.

They continued to make polite products by inheriting history, region, materials and technology from predecessors and making the best use in the present age.

Unlike other teapots that the spout and the hollow body are made separately, they are connected without any tracks for this Yui Teapot. Thank the superior skill of the kiln.

This soft line form drains well, and you can pour the last drop firmly.

As all parts of the piece are handmade in Japan, slight irregularities in size, glaze, colour and texture might occur and reflect the nature of the artisan product.
