This exquisite rock glass, "Flower Ball / 花手毬 (Hanatemari), is a signature creation by Hideaki Shinozaki (伝統工芸士 篠崎英明), a certified Traditional Craftsman of Edo Kiriko. Known for his mastery in floral motifs, Shinozaki has delicately engraved this piece with intricate blossoms that appear to bloom across the surface of the glass. The rounded shape fits naturally in the hand, inviting both comfort and admiration.

Crafted using kasane irome(重ね色目)—a traditional layering technique—the glass features a rare and elegant colour gradation, with a golden crimson core softly enveloped in translucent lavender. This delicate harmony of colours evokes the image of softly fragrant spring flowers captured in full bloom.

The Flower Ball glass is more than a vessel—it is a celebration of fleeting beauty and refined form. Ideal for whisky, sake, or fine beverages, it is equally compelling as a collector’s item or a cherished gift.
