Your Anniversary Gift Choices
Kousaido (香彩堂) is a Kyoto-based incense maker with a simple but deeply felt philosophy — to colour your life with fragrance. Drawing on Kyoto's centuries-old incense traditions and the city's ever-changing seasons, Kousaido blends ancient Japanese craftsmanship with a modern sensibility to create scents that feel equally at home in a quiet morning ritual or an everyday moment of pause. Natural sandalwood forms the heart of every blend, layered with woods, botanicals, and florals to build fragrances that are both grounded and evocative. The range is wide and thoughtfully curated — from rare agarwood and kyara to playful contemporary series inspired by ukiyo-e prints, woodland creatures, and the colours of autumn leaves — all presented in packaging as considered as the scents within. Rooted in the belief that incense has the power to calm the mind, cleanse a space, and bring a quiet richness to daily life, Kousaido invites you to slow down and let fragrance do the rest.
These two assortment sets are the easiest way into the Hyakurakukou range — each one contains a single stick of 12 different varieties, selected and grouped by Kousaido into two distinct fragrance personalities. They're designed as introductory sets, and they work well as gifts for someone who hasn't yet found their scent, or simply as a way to explore the range at your own pace before committing to a full box.
Seisai / 星彩 — Starlight — The more floral and fruity of the two, with a selection that spans magnolia, lemon, yuzu, osmanthus, patchouli, apple, cherry blossom, peach, frankincense, white sage, lavender, and lotus. There's real variety here — some bright and citrus-forward, others softer and more meditative — making it the better starting point if you're drawn to lighter, more seasonal scents.
Kohaku / 琥珀 — Amber — A deeper, more complex selection that leans into woods, resins, and aromatics: magnolia, jasmine, vanilla, marine, agarwood, sandalwood, palo santo, coffee, green tea, bamboo, camphor tree, and bergamot. It's a more grounded set overall, with a few surprises — coffee and marine sitting alongside ancient incense woods — and suits anyone who prefers their fragrance with a little more weight and character.

OSARA 6th Anniversary Gift With Purchase — Terms & Conditions
- This promotion is offered by UC Maison Pty Ltd trading as OSARA Australia ("OSARA").
- Customers who spend $150 AUD or more, excluding shipping, in a single qualifying purchase during the promotion period may choose one complimentary anniversary gift from the gift options available at the time of purchase.
- The promotion is available online from 5:00 pm AEDT on Friday, 9 October 2026, and at OSARA retail stores from Saturday, 10 October 2026, until all allocated gifts have been redeemed or the promotion is otherwise ended by OSARA.
- A total of 200 anniversary gifts are available across the promotion. Gifts are available while stocks last, and individual gift options may sell out before the promotion ends.
- The promotion is limited to one anniversary gift per order.
- For online orders, available gift options will appear once the cart reaches the qualifying spend. Customers must select their preferred gift and ensure that the gift is shown in the cart before completing checkout. No promotional code is required.
- If a gift was not added to a qualifying online order, the customer may contact OSARA after placing the order. OSARA will add the gift to the order only if stock is still available at the time OSARA responds. Requests are handled during OSARA's business hours, and a gift cannot be guaranteed once an order has been placed.
- For in-store purchases, one gift is available per qualifying transaction, and customers must provide a valid email address at checkout.
- If items are removed from an order and the remaining qualifying purchase value falls below $150 AUD, the anniversary gift will no longer be available.
- Anniversary gifts are not exchangeable, transferable or redeemable for cash, store credit or another product.
- If items from a qualifying purchase are returned under OSARA's change-of-mind returns policy and the remaining purchase value falls below $150 AUD, the anniversary gift must also be returned unused and in its original condition. If the gift is not returned, OSARA may deduct the retail value of the gift from any applicable refund, store credit or gift card amount.
- OSARA reserves the right to amend, suspend or end the promotion where reasonably necessary, subject to applicable law.
- Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
