The symbol on the cutleries is a charm of knots, Mizuhiki.

Knots have an association with the symbolism of love, friendship and affection. Mizuhiki conveys warmth, connection and togetherness.

The cutleries in the gift package were made in Tsubame, Niigata, Japan's cutlery and steel manufacturing centre. This city has long been known as the "town of hardware" of metal products like work tools and cutlery.

There are eight pieces of cutleries inside the package. They are pairs of dessert forks, dessert spoons, cake forks and teaspoons. 

The cylindrical rustic cardboard package gives a minimalist but dedicated atmosphere.
