Using the techniques that live on in Seto City, Aichi Prefecture, the town of ceramics, Ceramic Japan has had a strong commitment to design and has turned the ideas of its designers into reality through its technical capacities. 

This chopstick rest from Ceramic Japan is made from a mould of a tree brunch. Each piece is carefully finished so you can feel the lightness of a natural tree brunch. In addition, the colours are also created using a technique called kneading, which involves mixing pigments into the soil.

As the whole piece is handmade in Gifu, Japan, slight irregularities in size, glaze, colour and texture might occur and reflect the nature of the artisan product.
