This crystal glass is made by Satoshi Nabetani, a Master of traditional crafts in Japan. It features a cherry blossom on a pink backdrop.

Mr Nabetani uses a thin layer of pink-coloured crystal glass placed on top of colourless, transparent crystal glass. With cutting and gravure sculpting, the lower layer of colourless, transparent crystal glass emerges, creating a vivid contrast with the coloured crystal glass layer to make for a beautiful object, portraying imagery of the "Sakura".

Inside, cherry petals can be seen. They are expressed through the combination of fine-radiated cutting at the bottom and cutting of the side.
