Mini Matcha Bowl - Plum / ミニ抹茶碗 梅

Sourced from the well-known Gifu Prefecture(岐阜県), Japan, the origin of Mino ware which has 1,300 years of history.

The shape of this chawan is a flat type, also known as 'Natsu Chawan' — Summer Chawan. This flat type has a wide and flat shape of mouth which gives the whisked matcha a greater surface, allowing it to cool down faster in the warm summer months.

On the other hand, it is worthy of adding to the collection of matcha lovers because of the beauty of the natural glaze on top of the handmade chawan(茶碗). 

All Pottery Matcha Bowl products are wholly handmade in Japan. Each piece is unique; slight irregularities in size, glaze, colour and texture might occur and reflect the nature of the artisan product.
