The "Somenishiki (染錦) Shonzui (祥瑞) " series has been created using colourful geometric patterns that have been popular since ancient times. The patterns including Seigaiha(青海波) wave pattern, seven treasures(七宝), lattice and etc. Each of them has a good meaning, such as prosperity, in Japanese culture.

As the whole piece is handmade in Japan, slight irregularities in size, glaze, colour and texture might occur and reflect the nature of the artisan product.
